The Morehouse story is a long and successful one. In 1898, the tradition started with a hope and a prayer. Wanting to offer the locals a great mustard product, Mr. Morehouse decided to produce on his own in Los Angeles. Even back then, it was all about quality and consistency. The Morehouse brand grew quickly and we eventually opened a second plant in Emeryville, CA. Always a man with an entrepreneurial spirit, he decided to start bottling prepared horseradish, as well. After 80 years, we expanded yet again and moved into our current location in City of Industry, California. Through it all, we have remained committed to excellence and sustainability.
